While we were traveling I started trying out a different way of drawing people, i.e. the Noodle Arm Method. I’m finding that since I don’t have references or models when I draw humans, I get really stuck on things like elbows and kneecaps and toes. Hands have kind of always been my bane, even though I know how they work and that I should be able to make them translate on paper. Our friend Reed introduced us to Adventure Time over the summer so that’s been a helpful influence. :)
I have some other sketches that I’m going to be working up into a series of watercolor paintings, so stay tuned!
