Did you have a nice New Year’s Eve? I sure did! My boyfriend proposed! :D
Unfortunately I do not have a photo of us that is not blurry or in which we are not sticking our tongues out in a fit of high spiritedness. I look like an idiot in all of them (but at least Jarod looks cute). So here is one of Ivy rolling around instead:
I had such a super Christmas and New Year’s even aside from getting engaged, but that was the super delicious icing on the already perfect cake. I am so unbelievably happy and excited, there are just no words!
I’m trying to get organized (still?!) and am going to try to get back in a routine of blogging. I have a post I wrote about the Winter Craft Market but never got the pictures uploaded, so that should be up soon. I have a few themes in mind for upcoming Etsy Finds, so expect one of those in the next few weeks as well. Which reminds me– one of my prints made it into a Treasury on Etsy! Go see!
I’m also going to be working on more etchings soon; I ordered some Akua Intaglio ink to try out and am loving the resulting prints, the way the ink handles, and the easy clean-up. There’s a little bit of a learning curve compared to the oil-based inks I’m used to, and being able to actually print is giving me all sorts of ideas for new plates.
I feel very positive and enthusiastic about this year!
